And while I am here working hard on my membranes and trying to put the lab on fire, there are some people enjoying the sun at Portugal! Take a look at the next pictures and see how they seem to enjoy the beach without me… Grrrrrrr

Even my father! He, as an example, should be sympathetic to me, but nooooo… He even forgot he had a daughter. I bet on that…

(There is always a “but”… ) :) I was there as well! The first time I travel to Portugal it was in Jully and I didn’t have luck with the weather... But winners don’t quite and... I went there one more time during the summer and look at me (or my foot) at the beach! :D

Well… I can say that the beach was just the way I like it. With almost no one there (wonder why), not too hot but not too windy. I could listen to my music, relax and learn how to assemble a kite :p
I was planning to see the sunset at my spot in the middle of the ocean but that was not possible. Maybe next year… Four years ago my father found The Well. That’s how we call it and that’s my spot. Its secret and it belongs to me so… no pictures available! You want one? Find it! (kidding.. :p no pictures available because I can´t swim with a camera).
This well is a group of rocks with a really nice view over the ocean and the beach, far from noisy people, forming a kind of pool where we can dive. Promise to show you some pictures one of these days. Or to take you there as well :p
And let’s write more about the things that I did that weekend. I went out for a family lunch. Where? you ask… At the beach. (Yeah, it’s in my blood) My nephew was there and he loved the chocolates that I took with me. (Chocolate also)

THE DAY AFTER
The experts are on the track. Time to change the tires, remove the plates, do the last check up, put the helmet and… pray.
In this picture you can see how things are in Portugal. One is working will the rest is just watching and giving their opinions.
In this one, you can see what happens when you don’t have money for slick tires, and the road tires are too hot to even hit the brakes (and, of course, when you don’t know what you are doing!). The author of this piece of art was… my boyfriend!! ahahahah Result… the fun was over and we needed to drive carefully in the way back home.

106 GTi VS Saxo Cup Chapter XX - The never ending story

Gastão driving his two wheels CTR and… having problems with the wheels rubbing the arches.
Remove plates? We can manage with black duct tape! A little on the blue and a bit more on the yellow..For sure no one will recognize the car.. Duh!

A crazy Spanish drifting with a BMW. After a few laps, he got a warning.
A trackday without a Scooby is no trackday at all :)

Safety first! Always wear your helmet and glasses if you are driving a convertible
And follow the safety car for the recognition lap... Maximum Speed: 50Km/h

At the end, 30L/100km… Nice way to spend a weekend. Better, only at NurburgRing :)
